For an extra configuration fee, a virtual machine with another OS could be installed on this system. Using KVM, one can run multiple virtual machines running unmodified Linux or Windows images. Each virtual machine has private virtualized hardware and runs in a window on the host system. Virtualization is a huge improvement in performance over a dual-boot system, because both OSes are simultaneously running. Each virtual machine instance is also encapsulated and isolated from the host system.
